Fishing Charters
Hundreds of miles from anywhere there is a
bach.
Not a flash designer bach, and not a trendy retro bach either.
Its warm, dry and comfortable and sleeps 4 to 5.
The folks who own it live right next door and keep it as fresh as a daisy and as clean as
a new pin.
Its out East Cape way.
Cellphones dont work, but by golly do they catch fish!
| If
you cant relax in place like this, you're better off staying at work. |
 |
 |
This is the view from the porch
 The
table in the centre of the picture above is for cleaning your fish on.
Most of the anglers who stay here like to clean their fish themselves, but if you're a
visitor, or if you accidentally dozed off before you got around to it, heres a couple of
guys who might do it for you. |
 |
Thats Eddie Harrison on
the left - John Holliday is on the right.
They're sitting in the wheelhouse of "Kiwi Boyz"
Sometimes Eddie drives, sometimes John drives.
Sometimes one or the other stays at home.
It depends whos been up all night cleaning fish. |
This
is Eddie and John at work They've just caught a humungous kingi, (its just a bit hard to see).
 |
These are some customers.
They like it here.

In fact, they really, really hate leaving |
|
Sometimes, when their
customers are in the mood, they do a bit of game fishing. Fortunately theres a gamefishing
club at Waihau Bay. Theres also a pub 3 minutes walk from the bach, with its own wholesale
department and a restaurant.
